iPacking - Easy Trip Packing List App Reviews

Too often have I left packing until the last minute and forgotten an important item or two but now I have this, I think those days are behind me. It has a really good layout and it’s simple to navigate and set up lists for different events/holidays. The design looks elegant as well. Eventually I could see myself using this on a weekly basis for groceries and such but for now it suits my recreational needs pretty well.

This app is the best thing out here for planning a trip! It has almost every possible scene you can imagine. From camping/hiking to a day at the beach. It also plans what youll need very nicely. I love the slide motion function thats included. It helps to make sure I have everything and the checklist is very useful as well.

Easy interface and useful but really needs the ability to sync via iCloud, or even Dropbox, BOX or Sugarsync (the whole Facebook integration seems pretty useless).

Good UI, interesting features, potential to be very useful BUT I just cant use it! It crashed on every attempt!! On successful run, it crashed in the middle of checking its features. Typing is very slow and over all, this app needs a lot of work in performance point of view.

What did it take you all of five minutes to come up with this list?

It took me a little bit to customize for us but I do like this app.

The app is really handy - easy to use, flexible, and easy on the eyes. The only thing I really miss is syncing. It has already made my packing all that much easier; if it can sync between devices via iCloud, it will be truly invaluable. I see myself using this app trip after trip.

Good app, but can be improved. It crashes frequently and for some reason does not apply the changes in sort order of items, resorting the list according to its decision, not mine.

Everyone should download this. It would be great if it support import and export feature to share the list with others.

The app is nice, but the crashes and the lack of possibility to create my own categories makes it a little bit "raw".

Shows some promise, but templates are limited to six types of trips, and doesnt take into account length of trip, age and number of travelers, destination, and weather. More importantly, it misses the opportunity to enrich the templates through crowd sourcing.

This app might have potential but first them have to fix the reassigning function that shd allow you to move an item from one category to another. It doesnt work. So for me the app is worthless till that gets fixed.

My husband and I are getting close to retirement and plan to do some traveling - our way. We have tried several other to do/list apps but hadnt found anything that suited our needs. Through trial & error, I figured out how completely personalize this app to work for our unique travel style. I have to agree with the other comments Ive read about the constant crashing. I also agree with the need for syncing. If these two issues can be fixed, Ill come back and give a better rating.

Need to store data in iCloud so I can use iPad and iPhone for packing etc.

Love this app but it crashes. Would love it even more if it would sync with my iPhone and also have the option to move items up or down on the list.

Hard to use because it crashes all the time. It has potential but appears to have some major bugs.

I like the ease in which a list can be created and how you can add your own items. The only issue I have is you cant create categories nor can you add your new item to a category - it falls under "Other".

Works fine so far. Would love this more if I could reorder lists, but thats a minor issue since my category lists are relatively short.
